Job summary

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and direct nightly sanitation crew activities.

  • Ensure compliance with USDA, safety, and company sanitation standards.
  • Monitor proper use of chemicals and PPE at all times.
  • Inspect equipment and areas prior to sign-off for next day production.
  • Communicate equipment issues and sanitation concerns to maintenance and management.
  • Maintain documentation and sanitation logs as required.

Job description

As a Night Sanitation Lead, you will oversee and coordinate the sanitation crew to ensure all cleaning and food safety standards are met in compliance with HFF policies and USDA regulations. You will lead by example, ensuring all team members follow proper procedures, safety guidelines, and chemical usage per Safety Data Sheets (SDS).This role is responsible for ensuring all processing equipment, floors, and inedible buckets are properly cleaned, sanitized, inspected, and ready to pass USDA inspection for the next day of operations.
