Job summary

Weatherby Healthcare is seeking a Gastroenterologist for an outpatient locum tenens assignment in Winston-Salem, NC. The role involves weekday, day-shift coverage with 9-hour shifts, no weekends or holidays, and no on-call obligations.

Responsibilities include performing upper GI endoscopy, colonoscopy, sigmoidoscopy, small bowel biopsies, and other GI procedures in a hospital setting. Fellowship training and board certification in gastroenterology are required to be considered.

• Perform small bowel biopsies and lower GI endoscopy as needed
• Ensure accurate time entry and reporting in the online portal
