Job summary

Decision Point, a nonprofit ministry, seeks a Campus Ministry Staff member for North Carolina. The role focuses on coaching students to witness, building ministry partnerships, and expanding local campus outreach. A full-time commitment with extensive field time is required, including travel across NC and occasional national travel.

You will engage churches and schools, develop leaders, and live out gospel-centered outreach while fundraising for support and team growth.

About Decision Point

Decision Point is an evangelical nonprofit committed to reaching the next generation with the gospel. We equip, send, and reach students on school campuses and online while partnering with churches to mobilize students for outreach.

Decision Point currently serves 17 areas and aims to expand to 25 by 2027, with a vision to impact 1,000 campuses and reach 2.5+ million students through campus and online ministry.

About the Role

Campus Ministry Staff help develop courageous student leaders who live, witness, and serve for Christ. You will:

1. Coach and equip students to reach their peers for Christ.
2. Build relationships with youth pastors, churches, schools, and community leaders.
3. Establish and grow local campus ministry.
4. Spend 50–75% of your time in the field during the ministry year (September–May).
5. Travel regularly throughout North Carolina and occasionally nationally.

Qualifications

1. Ministry experience in a church or parachurch setting preferred.
2. Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required.
3. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
4. Strong organization, integrity, maturity, and teamwork.
5. Must be an evangelical follower of Jesus who loves the gospel and evangelism.

Compensation & Fundraising

Salary: $45,000–$55,000 annually, based on experience and qualifications.

Decision Point staff participate in fundraising for financial and prayer support. New staff receive training, encouragement, and ongoing coaching to build a team of ministry partners.
