Job summary

Valmet seeks a Head of North America Workshop Operations to lead and develop its workshop network across North America. You will oversee Production Unit managers and support functions, drive safety, accountability and continuous improvement, and be responsible for the financial and operational performance of the workshops—part of the PAC SER Roll Services Management Team.

You will lead with a focus on Lean, capability development and cross-functional collaboration, travel as needed, and ensure

Qualifications

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant technical field or equivalent experience.
At least 10 years of experience in operations or a similar environment.
Proven track record of leading people and delivering financial/operational results.

Responsibilities

Lead, coach and develop Production Unit managers and operational support functions.
Promote a strong safety culture and ensure compliance with standards.
Deliver financial targets and improve profitability, cost efficiency and absorption.
Oversee capacity, production, quality, inventory and delivery across the workshop network.
Drive Operational Excellence, Lean and continuous improvement.
Develop long-term operational roadmap, footprint and investment priorities.
Collaborate across functions to improve supply chain performance and procurement savings.
