Job summary

Aptiv is seeking an experienced manufacturing strategist for our US operations to lead footprint optimization, cost estimation, and capital investment analysis. The role focuses on driving vertical integration, product launches, and cross-functional execution across global plants.

You will develop business cases, manage risk assessments related to tariffs and supply chain, and champion lean cost efficiency.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years experience in automotive industry preferred in electronics manufacturing with understanding of PCB assembly, SMT, testing, molding, and final assembly.
• Experience in manufacturing strategy, footprint planning, and capacity management.
• Proven ability to develop financial business cases and evaluate capital investments.
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing cost structures, productivity drivers, and operational KPIs.
• Experience managing cross-functional projects in a global manufacturing environment.
• Understanding of government incentive programs, grants, and manufacturing investment support mechanisms.
• Outstanding knowledge of lean concepts.
• Business fluent English.
