Job summary

Yokogawa is seeking an HR Generalist to support employees across the North America region, handling recruitment, onboarding, benefits, immigration, mobility, HR data management and operations with professionalism and confidentiality.

Based in Sugar Land, TX, you will work with the Senior HR Business Partner and regional teams, contribute to learning and development initiatives, and help deliver a positive, compliant employee experience across diverse functions.

Qualifications

• Experience in HR administration and generalist duties with ability to handle confidential information.
• Strong understanding of HR policies, processes and employment law basics.
• PC proficiency and experience with HR systems and databases.
• Experience with recruitment, onboarding, benefits and employee relations.

Responsibilities

• HR Frameworks and Tools - contribute to drafting HR frameworks for recruitment, performance management and onboarding.
• HR Data Management - assist in developing forms and data collection aligned with requirements.
• HR Data Analytics and Insights - analyze HR data to identify trends and insights for engagement and performance.
• Policies and Procedures Development - draft and update HR guidelines to ensure compliance.
• Continuous Improvement - identify process improvements in HR operations.
• Stakeholder Engagement - support meetings and materials to promote understanding and commitment.
• Operational Compliance - monitor adherence to policies and report noncompliance.
• Personal Capability Building - participate in development activities and maintain external professional accreditation where relevant.
