Job summary

ERM is seeking a Consulting Director, Cultural Heritage to lead ERM's Cultural Heritage practice in the Mountain and Pacific region, focusing on the Great Basin, California, or Four Corners. You will guide projects, manage client relationships, and mentor teams across ERM’s North America practice.

You will influence project outcomes and regulatory compliance while driving business development and collaboration across ERM’s nationwide heritage teams.

Qualifications

• Must hold a Master's degree or higher in Anthropology or related field.
• Must meet the Secretary of the Interior's Professional Standards for Archaeology for NHPA/NEPA work.
• Member of the Register of Professional Archaeologists (RPA).
• 8+ years of related experience (15+ preferred).
• Strong familiarity with state and federal regulatory processes, especially BLM.

Responsibilities

• Provide program management and leadership for key energy-sector clients in the MAP region.
• Lead Cultural Heritage, NHPA, and NEPA compliance projects for major capital initiatives.
• Oversee teams conducting literature reviews, field work, and site investigations.
• Maintain and grow client relationships and drive revenue growth.
• Mentor and develop multidisciplinary teams across ERM practices.
