Description

We seek an outgoing, dependable individual to greet customers at our service department. The Valet/Porter will welcome customers, facilitate the transition to Service Advisors, move vehicles, ensure they are clean and damage-free, and assist with cleaning duties. Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED, a valid driver's license with a clean record, a professional appearance, and good communication skills. Willingness to work outdoors in varying weather and ability to drive both automatic and manual vehicles are required. Experience in valet services or automotive knowledge is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers professionally and answer questions
• Answer initial customer inquiries
• Make a positive first and last impression of the dealership
• Operate vehicles safely and carefully
• Transport stock units to and from the service department
• Use the Key Track System
• Maintain cleanliness and safety in the service area
• Verify customer appointments and vehicle information
• Assist with loaner vehicles and parking
• Install protective coverings and tags in vehicles
• Deliver keys and repair orders to Service Advisors
• Retrieve vehicles for customers and thank them for their business
• Follow safety and security procedures
• Perform additional duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Customer-focused and friendly

• Capable of multitasking and working under pressure
• Able to stand and walk for long periods and work outdoors
• Able to operate both automatic and manual transmissions
• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Previous experience is a plus
• Valid driver's license with a clean record
