Job summary

Mason Public Schools in Michigan is seeking a Noon Lunch Aide to supervise students during lunchtime and assist with lunchroom tasks.

This in-person role runs Monday through Friday, 10:45 am to 1:15 pm, 180 days per school year, with a pay rate of $15.00 per hour.

The position requires a high school diploma or equivalent, being at least 18 years old, and the ability to communicate well and work cooperatively with students, teachers and staff.

Job Summary:

The Noon Lunch Aide helps supervise students during lunchtime breaks and playtime. Some of the main responsibilities include helping students follow the rules, keeping the lunchroom clean, supervising students on the playground, and assisting with lunchroom tasks. This position requires good communication skills and the ability to manage groups of students in an active and often noisy environment.

Physical Requirements and Work Environment:

• This position requires long periods of standing, sitting, and walking.
• The position requires occasional lifting of supplies and movement of classroom furnishings during the course of the school day.
• Work takes place both indoors and outdoors, with the possibility of some travel to other schools or field trip locations.

Work Schedule:

180 days for a full school year

• Monday-Friday, 10:45 am - 1:15 pm

Rate of pay: $15.00per hour
