Texas State University is seeking a Temporary/Non-tenured Faculty member for Fall 2026, Spring 2027, and Summer 2027. The role involves teaching one to four courses per semester at the San Marcos and Round Rock campuses and/or online.
The ideal candidate holds a Master's degree with at least 18 graduate hours in the teaching field and may have previous university teaching experience. Full-time position contingent on departmental needs and satisfactory evaluations.
Temporary/non‑tenured faculty will be appointed to teach one to four courses per semester at the San Marcos and Round Rock campuses and/or online, depending on departmental needs. Eligibility for annual reappointment is contingent upon satisfactory annual performance evaluations, continuity of funding, and departmental/school need.
