Job summary

Main Industries, Inc. is seeking a Nonskid Craft Worker to join our team in the Hampton, VA area. The role involves applying and pulling nonskid coatings, priming, and stripe coats on marine and industrial projects, with first and second shift coverage.

Ideal candidates will operate and service Goff deck blasting machines, and bring familiarity with UHP water blasting, hydrocat operation, and pump repairs. Safety and quality adherence are essential on all projects.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of how to apply/pull nonskid as well as the associated primer and stripe coats.
• Operating and fixing mechanical deck blasting machines (Goff).
• Layout and apply VLA markings is a plus.
• Familiarity with UHP Water Blasting, UHP Hydrocat operation, UHP pump repair.
• All candidates must submit to drug testing and E-Verification of their right to work in the US.
• Reliable transportation a must.
• Adherence to Safety and Quality Standards are a must.

Job Type

Full-time, hourly (1st and 2nd shift expected)

Required experience:

• Knowledge of how to apply/pull nonskid as well as the associated primer and stripe coats
• Operating and fixing mechanical deck blasting machines (Goff)

• Familiarity with UHP Water Blasting, UHP Hydrocat operation, UHP pump repair

No overtime is guaranteed, but some projects do require overtime. This could be more than 40 hours during the normal Monday through Friday work week, work on the weekends or both.
