Job summary

Casa Pacifica Centers For Children & Family is seeking a Staff Accountant to support the organization’s financial operations, including general accounting, payroll processing via Paycom, and financial reporting. The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in a related field and at least five years of accounting/payroll experience, preferably in nonprofit settings.

The Staff Accountant will ensure GAAP compliance, perform month-end close, reconciliations, and assist with audits, while maintaining

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field required.
• Minimum of five (5) years of progressively responsible accounting and payroll experience required.
• Experience with nonprofit accounting, Financial Edge (Blackbaud), and Paycom preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and record financial transactions in accordance with GAAP.
• Prepare month-end close, bank reconciliations, tax filings, and 1099 reporting.
• Assist in monthly and year-end close processes and audits.
• Maintain reconciliation schedules for general ledger balances.
• Ensure payroll accuracy and regulatory compliance.
• Record payroll journal entries and reconcile payroll-related accounts.
