Job summary

Jewish United Fund (JUF) in Chicago is seeking a Planning & Allocations professional to advance CBJC community planning priorities. You will support the commission’s planning and allocation processes, prepare detailed meeting materials, and help collect and analyze data on Jewish education and engagement.

This role offers a hybrid schedule and a strong benefits package. The position requires a Bachelor’s degree and 2+ years of office experience, with nonprofit experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 2+ years of office experience.
• Knowledge and experience in a non-profit setting or the human service field.
• Requires discretion and independent judgement in performing all aspects of the position (meeting facilitation, budget review).

Responsibilities

• Provide high-level support to CBJC Commission’s planning and allocation process; assist with agendas, materials, and slides; review program and budget materials.
• Maintain workplans and timelines for community-planning initiatives; track deliverables and decisions.
• Collect, organize, summarize and visualize data related to Jewish education and engagement; create impact stories and reports for lay leadership; assist with evaluation tools.
• Conduct research to advance CBJC priorities.
• Support special community planning efforts across youth engagement, education, and other areas.
• Serve as a point of contact for day-to-day questions from CBJC and day school partners.
