The role focuses on maintaining corporate books and records, assisting with filings, and managing contracts, insurance, and governance materials for Hadassah and its affiliates. A background in non-profit law and paralegal certification is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 3–5 years paralegal experience in corporate or compliance.
• Paralegal certification required.
• Experience managing corporate books and records.

Responsibilities

• Manage municipal, state, federal and international regulatory compliance efforts.
• Conduct and assist with legal research projects.
• Prepare corporate books and records, including minutes, resolutions, and certificates for Hadassah and its related entities and affiliates, and conducting archival research for all Hadassah entities.
• Assist with annual filing requirements and regulations regarding Hadassah’s tax-exempt status and other compliance requirements.
• Maintain agreement templates and policies of the legal department.
• Assist in managing Hadassah’s portfolio of trademarks, including clearance, registrations, renewals, monitoring and enforcement.
• Prepare and assist with government reports, filings and registrations.
• Assist with management and organization of contract files and electronic records.
• Assist with preparing board and committee meeting materials.
