Job summary

Connections for Children invites an Operations Manager to lead daily administrative and workplace operations for the West Los Angeles and South Bay service area. You will supervise Reception and IT coordination, manage facilities, safety programs, vendor relations, and agency vehicles, ensuring a safe, accessible and efficient workplace.

The role reports to the COO and emphasizes process improvement, cross-team collaboration, and compliance with nonprofit standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in nonprofit operations or admin management.
• Minimum 5 years of progressive experience in operations, administration, or facilities coordination.
• Minimum 3 years of supervisory experience with accountability.
• Experience managing operational projects and coordinating stakeholders.
• Experience with facilities, vendors, service requests, and office systems.
• Strong technology aptitude and familiarity with MS 365/Teams/SharePoint/Zoom.

Responsibilities

• Lead operational projects from planning through completion with reports and timelines.
• Supervise front desk and reception operations, visitor engagement, and communications.
• Manage vendor contracts, service agreements, and administrative records.
• Ensure compliance with insurance, leases, facilities, safety, and related requirements.
• Maintain safety procedures and coordinate related staff training.
• Oversee office supplies, equipment, inventory systems, and meetings/events.
• Provide operational leadership for agency technology needs and IT coordination.
