Job summary

SHIK CONSULTING GROUP is seeking an Entry Level Marketing Assistant to raise brand awareness for nonprofit clients. This onsite role includes paid training, and you will work across departments to craft impactful campaigns and drive donor engagement in the DC area.

You’ll translate brand elements into go-to-market plans, assist with presentations, and collaborate on growth strategies while learning from a driven team committed to social impact.

Qualifications

• Ability to receive training and coaching in identifying target audiences and campaigns.
• Fieldwork and high volume in-person interaction.
• Strong analytical skills paired with a creative mindset.

• Up-to-date with latest marketing trends and best practices.
• Degree in marketing or a related field.

Responsibilities

• Increase donor funding with strategic brand positioning and territory management.
• Shape and communicate our vision and mission through public speaking and presentations.
• Translate brand elements into plans and go-to-market strategies.
• Manage a team of marketing people working on brand initiatives.
• Lead creative development to motivate the target audience to take action.
• Establish performance specifications, costs and price parameters, market applications and sales estimates.
• Measure and report performance of marketing campaigns, ROI and KPIs.
• Monitor market trends, research consumer markets and competitors' activities.
• Oversee new and ongoing marketing and advertising activities.
• Monitor product distribution and consumer reactions.
• Devise innovative growth strategies.
• Align the company around the brand’s direction, choices and tactics.
