Job summary

Scion Nonprofit Staffing has been engaged to conduct a search for a Development Manager for a rapidly growing nonprofit focused on expanding educational opportunities and community impact in the Dallas-Fort Worth area. This hybrid role involves cultivating relationships with individual donors and partners while driving strategic fundraising efforts in the DFW market.

Qualifications

  • Experience in fundraising, donor relations, or relationship-focused roles.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills with ability to build long-term relationships.
  • Willingness to travel frequently throughout the Greater DFW area.
  • Passion for nonprofit education and community impact.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, cultivate, and steward relationships with individual donors, corporations, foundations, churches, and community partners to increase philanthropic support.
  • Manage a portfolio of donors while identifying, soliciting, and securing new funding opportunities.
  • Represent the organization at networking events, fundraising activities, community meetings, and school visits throughout the Greater DFW area.
  • Collaborate with the Vice President of Development to execute fundraising campaigns, donor stewardship strategies, and special events.
  • Maintain accurate donor records, fundraising activity, and pipeline management through CRM systems and reporting tools.
  • Serve as an enthusiastic ambassador for the organization's mission while helping strengthen community partnerships and expand organizational impact.

Scion Nonprofit Staffing has been engaged to conduct a search for a Development Manager for a rapidly growing, mission-driven nonprofit organization dedicated to expanding educational opportunities and community impact. This is a hybrid opportunity based in the Dallas-Fort Worth, Texas area, with regular travel throughout the region for donor meetings, fundraising events, networking, and school visits.

Position Overview

This newly created role is an exciting opportunity to help fuel the continued growth of an innovative nonprofit as it expands its reach across Texas. Reporting to the Vice President of Development, the Development Manager will cultivate meaningful relationships with individual donors, corporate partners, foundations, churches, and community leaders while driving strategic fundraising efforts throughout the DFW market. The ideal candidate is a relationship-focused fundraiser or business development professional who is energized by connecting people to a mission and creating lasting community partnerships.

Compensation and Benefits
  • Base salary of $72,000-$85,000 annually.
