Job summary

Utah’s Promise is seeking an organized Communications Project Manager (CPM) to oversee marketing and communications projects from start to finish. You will create project plans, manage timelines, and keep teams aligned to deliver initiatives successfully.

The ideal candidate will make sound decisions, handle competing priorities, and build strong working relationships while working in a fast-paced nonprofit environment. The role supports flexible schedules with in-office hours and remote Fridays.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of direct project management experience in communications or related field.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a relevant discipline.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.; ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Responsibilities

• Plan projects: develop and maintain project plans for campaigns with scope, timelines, and approvals.
• Manage intake and priorities using Asana and align with VP.
• Lead kickoffs, status meetings, and debriefs; monitor progress and resolve bottlenecks.
• Maintain content calendars, production schedules, and approval timelines.
• Coordinate deliverables with internal teams and vendors.
• Own the marketing project dashboard in Asana and report status, risks, and capacity.
• Improve templates, workflows, and communication practices.
• Provide project coordination support as needed.
