Requirements include CPA license, a bachelor’s in Accounting or related field, and 5+ years in public accounting with nonprofit experience. You’ll join a collaborative, client-focused firm that values integrity and professional development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Active CPA license.
• Five or more years of public accounting experience with nonprofit experience.
• Strong leadership, communication, and relationship-building skills.
• Exceptional organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
• Experience preparing and reviewing financial statements, compilations, and reviews.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and internal controls over financial reporting.
• Strong knowledge related to Form 990 preparation for nonprofits.

Responsibilities

• Lead nonprofit audit engagements from planning through completion, including client presentations.
• Supervise, coach, and mentor staff throughout engagements.
• Review financial statements and audit documentation for accuracy and compliance.
• Advise clients on accounting, auditing, and financial reporting matters.
• Identify and resolve complex accounting and audit issues.
• Evaluate internal controls and financial reporting processes.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships through exceptional service.
• Review and/or prepare Form 990 and related state informational returns.
• Participate in business development activities, networking, and client presentations.
• Contribute to growth and success of the firm's Audit practice.
