Job summary

Mercor, a San Francisco-based firm connecting talent with AI labs, is seeking a contract evaluator for nonprofit and philanthropy programs. Remote work is supported, with compensation at $80–$120 per hour. You will assess AI-generated artifacts against quality rubrics and deliver clear written feedback to improve model outputs.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in nonprofit/philanthropy, English fluency, and strong MS Office/Google Workspace skills. Master's degree preferred.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of nonprofit/philanthropy/community programs experience is required.
• Native or professional fluency in English.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Google Workspace (Slides).

Responsibilities

• Evaluate AI-generated artifacts against domain-specific quality rubrics.
• Identify factual, aesthetic, and presentation errors in documents, spreadsheets, and slide decks.
• Provide clear, structured written feedback to improve AI model outputs.
• Apply deep subject-matter expertise to grade outputs for accuracy and rigor.
• Work independently and asynchronously to meet deadlines while delivering high-quality evaluations.
