Job summary

Inter-Lakes Community Action Partnership in Madison, SD is seeking an Accountant to maintain financial records, post to the general ledger, reconcile accounts, and support reporting across expenditures, revenue, A/P, and A/R.

You will prepare vouchers, run A/P checks, post deposits, complete bank reconciliations, and ensure accuracy while keeping confidential information secure. This is a full-time role in a community-focused organization.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree in Accounting or related field preferred
• Two years of related bookkeeping experience and/or training (or equivalent combination) preferred

Responsibilities

• Post transactions to the general ledger and reconcile accounts.
• Prepare and process vouchers, run accounts payable checks and DDP payments.
• Review figures, codes, and documentation for accuracy; protect confidentiality.
• Prepare journal entries and assist with bank reconciliations.
