Job summary

Cadence International, an evangelical mission organization, seeks an Accountant to support the Finance Department with timely general ledger processing, reconciliations, and financial reporting. The role covers fixed assets, grant tracking, year-end closing, and auditor coordination.

Requires 2–5 years in accounting, nonprofit background preferred, on-site in Colorado, and flexible work hours (full or part-time).

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or business field.
• 2-5 years of accounting experience.
• Working knowledge of accounting principles.
• Experience with nonprofit accounting software, Sage Intacct, preferred.
• Born again, mature Christian with affinity for Cadence International's mission.

Responsibilities

• Record financial transactions in general ledger and sub-ledgers.
• Reconcile general ledger accounts and bank/investment accounts.
• Prepare reports and assist with annual audit and tax exemptions.
• Serve as backup lead for accounting software and train HQ/field staff.
• Assist with budgets, grant tracking, and internal controls.
