Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Prepare, proofread, and/or edit documents.
  • Provide clerical and administrative support to research staff and committees.
  • Prepare and maintain official committee meeting materials and files.
  • Assist with planning and organizing committee meetings.
  • Operate hearing room equipment for committee meetings.
  • Facilitate in-person and remote participation in committee meetings.
  • Track the progress of bills.
  • Provide information to legislators, staff, lobbyists, media, and the public.
  • Work both independently and with staff, upholding nonpartisanship and confidentiality.
