Salem Health Hospitals & Clinics is actively looking for a Noninvasive Cardiologist to join its team in Cooperstown, NY. This role involves performing a full range of noninvasive cardiac tests and providing both outpatient and inpatient care.

The ideal candidate will have teaching responsibilities for fellows and residents and will participate in clinical care within a busy lab with extensive yearly testing volumes.

Qualifications

• State licensure and BLS certification are necessary.

Physician – Noninvasive Cardiologist – Cooperstown, NY

Overview

Bassett Healthcare Network, a progressive, academic health system in central New York and major teaching affiliate of Columbia University, is seeking a Noninvasive Cardiologist to join our staff.

The faculty practice consists of 15 cardiologists, 2 surgeons, and 18 advanced practice clinicians. The Bassett network includes over 500 employed practitioners.

Bassett Healthcare Network is an integrated health care system that provides care and service to people living in an eight county region covering 5,600 square miles in Central New York. The organization includes five corporately affiliated hospitals, as well as skilled nursing facilities, community and school‑based health centers, and health partners in related fields.

Job Description & Responsibilities

Provide clinical and consultative care within the hospital and office setting. We offer a full range of noninvasive testing including MRI, CT, echo and nuclear cardiology. We have a busy noninvasive lab with over 10,000 echos and 2,000 nuclear scans yearly, with dedicated reading time. To include:

• Outpatient, Inpatient and Regional Patient Care
• Integrated EPIC Electronic Health Record
• Medical and Rural Surgery residency programs, Cardiology Fellowship
• Faculty teaching of our cardiology fellows, internal medicine residents, and medical students
• Night call three times monthly with fellow and resident support
• Salary Range: $610,000 - $712,000. This compensation range represents Bassett Healthcare’s good faith belief of the compensation range at the time of this posting or advertisement. Salary is based on a variety of factors, including, but not limited to, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, training, and fair market evaluation based on industry standards
• Bassett offers Physicians an incentive plan with no earnings cap. Individual performance and productivity can significantly enhance compensation with potential upside realized within the first year of employment.
• Sign‑on bonus up to $200,000
