Job summary

LeoForce in Chatsworth, CA is seeking a seasoned NDT Technician to join our fast-paced aerospace and defense engineering team. The role focuses on nondestructive testing of materials and equipment, ensuring safety and quality standards without damage.

You will perform MT inspections, UT, radiography, and liquid penetrant methods, interpret results, develop inspection plans, maintain records, calibrate equipment, and mentor junior staff while upholding safety guidelines.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of NDT Technician experience, MT inspection.
  • Certification in Nondestructive Testing from a recognized institution.
  • Strong knowledge of NDT methods, practices, and equipment.
  • Proficient in interpreting blueprints, specifications and procedures.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

We are seeking a seasoned and dynamic Permanent Nondestructive Testing (NDT) Technician to join our fast-paced engineering team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for conducting comprehensive inspections and tests on a variety of materials, products, and equipment to ensure they meet the required safety and quality standards without causing any damage. This role requires a highly skilled professional with a keen eye for detail, a solid understanding of testing methodologies, and a strong commitment to maintaining the highest level of quality control. Responsibilities

Qualifications
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience as an NDT Technician, specifically with MT Inspection.

  • Proficient in interpreting blueprints, specifications, and procedures.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly explain complex technical concepts.
  • Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and quality.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
  • Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures.
  • Proficiency in using computer software and applications relevant to the job.
  • Physical stamina and dexterity to perform the duties and responsibilities of the job.
  • A team player with a positive attitude and strong work ethic.
