Life Cycle Engineering seeks a senior Nondestructive Ultrasonic Testing (UT) Technician III to lead advanced UT evaluations for Navy systems and materials. You will develop procedures, scan plans, and mentor Level I/II technicians while ensuring compliance with NAVSEA standards.
Expect to work on UT thickness, shear wave, TOFD, and PAUT, with emphasis on anomalies analysis and defect remediation to maintain fleet readiness.
Join a high impact NDE/NDT team supporting advanced ultrasonic inspection of U.S. Navy systems, components, and materials. As a Nondestructive Ultrasonic Testing (UT) Technician III, you'll serve as a senior technical expert performing complex UT methods-ensuring structural integrity, fleet readiness, and compliance with NAVSEA standards.
In this role, you will lead high complexity ultrasonic evaluations including UT thickness, shear wave, TOFD, and PAUT. You'll develop scan plans, write and validate procedures, and apply industry leading NDT techniques that directly support mission critical Navy programs. Your expertise will strengthen lifecycle sustainment, drive technology improvements, and advance innovative NDE capabilities across naval platforms.
