Step into the heart of New York City's culture and energy with RiseNY—an interactive, immersive attraction near Times Square. We’re hiring enthusiastic, reliable team members for the Spring & Summer season to help create unforgettable experiences for our guests.

Position: Exhibit Host

As an Exhibit Host, you’ll rotate between various key areas of the exhibit—such as the torch-level platform, subway entrance, and popcorn station—ensuring a safe, informative, and enjoyable experience for all visitors. This is a guest-facing role that’s ideal for individuals who love engaging with the public in a fun and fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Greet and assist guests at major exhibit touchpoints (torch platform, subway entrance, concessions), etc. Subject to change based on necessity.
2. Manage guest flow and enforce safety protocols.
3. Provide directions, exhibit information, and read scripted announcements.
4. Offer historical insights about the exhibit (e.g., torch replica).
5. Operate and maintain the popcorn station, including cleanliness and restocking.
6. Adhere to timed events and communicate effectively with management.

Requirements:

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to stand and remain alert for 6-hour shifts.
• Positive, calm, and guest-oriented demeanor.
• Comfortable reading from a script or clipboard.
• Attention to cleanliness and basic food handling (preferred).
• Previous experience in customer service, events, tourism, or concessions is a plus.

Qualifications:

• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Comfortable working in a high-energy, interactive environment.
• Ability to stand/walk for extended periods.
• Experience in attractions, entertainment venues, or hospitality is a bonus.
