Job summary

Strive Pharmacy seeks a Non-Sterile Lab Support Pharmacy Technician to assist day-to-day sterile lab operations and support various workflows. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, organized, and dedicated to high-quality patient care.

The role is full-time and on-site, with hours 8:00am to 4:30pm, Monday through Friday. A MO Pharmacy Technician license (or willingness to obtain one) is required along with strong team and communication skills.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Hold a Missouri Pharmacy Technician license or be willing to obtain one.
• Accurate, detail oriented and able to work efficiently.
• Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
• Good communication and collaborative skills.
• Ability to work independently and within a team.
• Must wear protective apparel as required by procedure.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Support non-sterile lab operations, clean equipment, bottle products into final containers by hand or with bottling automation, label finished goods and restock labs.
• Maintain adequate stock levels of laboratory supplies.
• Participate in daily, weekly and monthly lab cleaning activities.

Position Overview:

The Non-Sterile Lab Support Pharmacy Technician will play a crucial role in supporting our day to day sterile lab operations and receive exposure to various workflows within our organization. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, strong organizational skills, and a passion for providing excellent patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supporting the non-sterile lab by cleaning lab equipment, bottling compounded products into their final dispensing containers by hand or utilizing bottling automation, labeling finished goods, restocking labs and other duties as assigned
• Ensures adequate stock levels of laboratory supplies
• Participate in all daily, weekly, and monthly lab cleaning activities

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma/GED
• Hold a MO Pharmacy technician license or willing to obtain one
• Ability to work efficiently in a timely manner
• Close attention to detail and accuracy
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Must be capable of donning and wearing all protective wear as required by procedure for each area. This includes, but not limited to: mask, gloves, lab coat, gown, hairnet, beard cover, safety goggles and shoe covers
• Must be capable of lifting and moving items, including ingredients, weighing up to 50 pounds

Work of Environment:

This position is primarily based in an onsite work environment. The role requires regular periods of sitting, standing, and computer use, with occasional lifting as needed. Reasonable accommodations may be made for individuals with disabilities.

Hourly Pay Rate

$18—$20 USD
