Kind Lending is seeking an experienced NON-QM Underwriting Manager to lead the underwriting team responsible for evaluating residential mortgage loan applications with focus on risk management, compliance, and investor guideline adherence.
The role supports a remote workforce with EAST COAST time zone options. The starting base pay ranges from $130k to $150k annually, with actual compensation based on experience and business needs.

The NON-QM Underwriting Manager holds a senior leadership role within the lending process, overseeing Underwriting Team Leads and their teams of 8-10 mortgage underwriters to ensure efficient, accurate, and compliant evaluation of residential mortgage loan applications. This role is responsible for leading and developing the underwriting function while maintaining a strong focus on risk management, regulatory compliance, and consistent adherence to company lending guidelines and applicable investor or agency requirements. The NON-QM Underwriting Manager brings a strategic mindset, deep underwriting expertise, and strong communication skills to drive informed decision-making and support the overall success of the organization's lending operations.

The starting base pay range for this position is $130k to $150k/annually. The actual base is dependent on many factors such as: work experience, business needs, market demands, and other compensation components. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future.
