Job summary

Assisting Hands of Orland Park is seeking a compassionate Non-Medical Caregiver to provide custodial and personal care in clients' homes, aligning with each client’s Plan of Care. You will help with daily living activities, maintain a clean and safe home, and offer companionship to support independent living.

Reporting to the Care Manager, you will ensure clients receive reliable, respectful care while upholding privacy and dignity in a home care setting.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• At least 1 year of home care or similar experience preferred.
• Caring, trustworthy, and responsible.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Previous caregiving experience is an advantage.
• Able to follow care instructions and respect client privacy.

• Prepare meals and provide light housekeeping.
• Offer companionship and emotional support.

Your role will play a vital part in ensuring clients maintain a clean, comfortable, and safe environment while receiving the support they need to live independently.
