Textron Aviation is hiring a full-time aircraft mechanic to leverage prior military aircraft maintenance experience and become a licensed A&P mechanic. The role includes a two-week prep course and paid training to obtain Airframe and Powerplant certifications within 90 days of start.

We are hiring immediately for a full-time aircraft mechanic. This role is critical to our mission, so we are offering veterans the opportunity to use your prior military aircraft maintenance experience to become a licensed A&P mechanic.

Start your career at Textron Aviation in this role, and we will provide a two-week prep course and pay for you to obtain your Airframe and Powerplant Mechanic certifications within 90 days of your start date.

What you will be doing as an A & P Mechanic:

You can expect to conduct thorough inspections, maintenance, and repairs on Cessna and Beechcraft aircraft models. Your responsibilities include:

• Performs a variety of mechanical duties involving diagnosis of malfunctions and required disassembly, rework, repair, replacement, reassembly, or adjustment of various aircraft systems to prepare aircraft for flight and delivery to customer.
• Performs turbine engine troubleshooting, inspection, repair and engine run-ups.
