Job summary

7Th Sky Techologies llc is seeking a Non-IT Project Manager to plan, direct, and coordinate projects in fields like engineering, R&D, and production. Local candidates within about an hour’s drive of Houston are preferred, with onsite work in Houston, TX.

Responsibilities include leading project plans, presenting proposals, recruiting and mentoring staff, and negotiating with clients. A Bachelor’s degree and PMI/PMP are preferred, with 2–4 years of relevant experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business administration or a related field.
• PMI or PMP certification preferred.
• 2–4 years experience in non-IT project management.

• Coordinate projects, making detailed plans to accomplish goals and directing the integration of technical activities.
• Present and explain proposals, reports and findings to clients.
• Recruit employees, assign, direct, and evaluate their work, and oversee staff development and competency.
• Analyze technology, resource needs and market demand to plan and assess feasibility of projects.
• Confer with management, production and marketing staff to discuss project specifications and procedures.
• Review and approve contracts and cost estimates.
• Direct, review and approve product designs and changes.
• Consult or negotiate with clients to prepare project specifications.

Position Summary

The main function of a non-IT project manager is to plan, direct, or coordinate activities in such fields as engineering, research and development, financial systems and product roll-out, etc or any other non-IT based project.

Job Responsibilities
