Job summary

Norton Healthcare is seeking a Non-Invasive Vascular Tech to perform non-invasive vascular testing and evaluate patients for peripheral vascular disease. You will collaborate with the hospital team, applying vascular testing techniques and patient-centered care.

Ideal candidates will have a Diploma and relevant RVT/RVS/ARRT credentials, with 1 year of vascular testing experience and a commitment to ongoing professional development.

Qualifications

• One year in vascular testing.
• Must have Diploma and obtain within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Perform non-invasive test procedures to evaluate for peripheral vascular disease.
• Demonstrate clinical proficiency in vascular testing and patient care.
• Follow department/hospital policies to provide direct patient care and improve skills.

Responsibilities

The Non-Invasive Vascular tech is trained in vascular physiology and non-invasive techniques, is responsible for performing non-invasive test procedures on patients to evaluate for peripheral vascular disease, functions as a member of the hospital team. Demonstrates clinical proficiency in the care of patients relative to their vascular testing, medical diagnoses, nursing interventions, required vascular assessments, age specific requirements. The employee uses the technical process, CQI process, and hospital and community resources to plan direct patient care, demonstrates clinical competency in all modalities of vascular testing. The employee uses department and hospital wide policies procedures during the provision of patient care, is accountable for improving job knowledge and skills.
