Qualifications

• Registered or Registry eligible by ARDMS or CCI as a RVT.
• Staff eligible must attain Active Registry Status within one year from date of hire.

Responsibilities

• Operate ultrasound imaging to produce diagnostic images for physician readings.
• Deliver service at multiple locations (OR, angio suite, etc.).

Education/Experience

Minimum Required:

• Associate degree in Applied Science in vascular technology or similar modality
• Knowledge of cross‐sectional anatomy, hemodynamics as well as color flow doppler principles.

License/Certification

Minimum Required:

• Registered or Registry eligible by the ARDMS or CCI as a registered vascular technologist (RVT).
• Staff who are Registry eligible are required to successfully pass the Registry exam achieving "Active Registry Status" within one year from the date of hire.

Preferred:

• Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT).

Work Environment

• Work is performed in the department, which consists of several rooms, these rooms are air conditioned as well as heated, area is occasionally subject to fumes. Delivery of services is through the use of sound waves and pressure monitoring to produce images for physician readings. Delivery of service may also be performed at various locations (OR, angio suite, etc.).
