Job summary

Methodist Richardson Medical Center is seeking a Noninvasive Technician to collaborate with a multidisciplinary team and perform day-to-day EKG department duties, including electrocardiograms, treadmill stress tests, Holter hookup and scanning, editing, charging and charting.

The role requires a high school diploma, BLS certification, completion of Basic Dysrhythmia, and preferably ACLS, with about one year of hospital experience in the EKG unit.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Current Basic Life Support Certification required; Advanced Cardio Life Support preferred
• Successfully complete Basic Dysrhythmia class
• 1 year experience in a hospital setting preferably in the EKG department preferred

Job Description : Your Job: In this highly technical, fast-paced, and rewarding position, you'll collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to provide the very best care for patients. The Noninvasive Technician performs day to day functions of the EKG department to include electrocardiograms, all treadmill stress tests, Holter monitor hook-up and scan, editing, charging and charting.

Job Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Current Basic Life Support Certification required; Advanced Cardio Life Support preferred
