Job summary

Methodist Richardson Medical Center is seeking an experienced Noninvasive Technician to support the EKG department in a fast-paced hospital setting. You will perform electrocardiograms, treadmill stress tests, and Holter monitor hookup and charting as part of daily duties.

Requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent and a current BLS certification. ACLS is preferred, with a preference for at least one year of hospital-based EKG experience to provide high-quality patient care.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Current Basic Life Support Certification required; Advanced Cardiac Life Support preferred.
• Complete Basic Dysrhythmia class.
• 1 year hospital experience in the EKG department preferred.

Your Job: In this highly technical, fast-paced, and rewarding position, you'll collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to provide the very best care for patients. The Noninvasive Technician performs day to day functions of the EKG department to include electrocardiograms, all treadmill stress tests, Holter monitor hook-up and scan, editing, charging and charting.

Your Job Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Current Basic Life Support Certification required; Advanced Cardio Life Support preferred
• Successfully complete Basic Dysrhythmia class
• 1 year experience in a hospital setting preferably in the EKG department preferred
