Position Overview

Catholic Health is seeking an experienced Board-Certified Non-Invasive Clinical Cardiologist to join our team in Suffolk County, under the direction of St. Francis Hospital. Join our expanding physician network of over 3,200 physicians across Suffolk, Nassau, and Queens counties. Catholic Health is a fully integrated health system serving Long Island communities. Our Commack location is a newly renovated, multi-specialty hub with existing Cardiology, Primary Care, Orthopedics, and Radiology services onsite.

Our system includes 6 hospitals, 3 long-term care facilities, a Home Care and Hospice agency, and a program for developmentally disabled individuals, employing over 17,000 staff with an operating budget exceeding $3 billion.

Responsibilities

  • Participate in departmental policies and procedures
  • Collaborate with hospital colleagues and departments to promote patient safety and improve throughput
  • Engage in performance improvement initiatives
Requirements
  • Board-Certified and Fellowship Trained in Clinical Cardiology
  • NYS Licensed MD/DO
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Compensation and Benefits

Salary Range: $233,388 - $665,703. This is an estimate; actual pay depends on education, training, skills, licensure, and experience. Benefits include comprehensive medical plans, life insurance, generous paid time off, flexible spending accounts, tuition reimbursement, pension plan, and other savings options.
