Job summary

Allegheny Health Network seeks a Full-Time, non-invasive Cardiologist to join the Wexford team. Join four cardiologists and four advanced practice providers in a premier cardiovascular program offering comprehensive care and access to multidisciplinary specialists and innovative therapies.

The Wexford Hospital features a 160-bed facility with 24/7 cardiac catheterization, AHN Heart Center, and opportunities for mentorship and involvement in nuclear, echo, and vascular ultrasound readings.

Qualifications

• MD/DO degree required.
• ACGME Cardiovascular Disease Fellowship required or completed.
• Board Certification or eligibility in Cardiovascular Disease.
• Licensed to practice medicine in Pennsylvania before employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide non-invasive cardiology services in inpatient and outpatient settings.
• Collaborate with AHN Heart Center and multidisciplinary team.
• Read nuclear, echo, TEE, and vascular ultrasound studies.

Job Description: The Allegheny Health Network's (AHN), Department of Cardiovascular Medicine is seeking a Full-Time, Non-Invasive Cardiologist to join our team serving the Wexford area. This is an opportunity to join one of the premier cardiac programs in the country providing superior care and access to a comprehensive, multidisciplinary team of specialists and innovative therapies, including many available only through clinical trials.

AHN’s Wexford Hospital is a full service 160 bed facility that opened its doors in 2021. It offers minimally invasive thoracic and vascular surgery, 24/7 cardiac catheterization lab and an on-campus AHN Heart Center. The cardiology practice at Wexford is comprised a team of 4 physicians and 4 APP’s providing the full spectrum of cardiovascular care.

Qualifications:

• Cardiac CT/MRI experience preferred
• Completion of ACGME approved Cardiovascular Disease Fellowship

• Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO)
• Licensed in the state of Pennsylvania prior to employment
