Qualifications

• MD or DO degree from an accredited institution.
• Board certification or eligibility in Cardiology (ABIM).
• Active Arizona Medical License with DEA registration.
• BLS Certification within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Conduct patient evaluations and order/interpret diagnostic tests.
• Diagnose and treat cardiovascular conditions and diseases.
• Develop and manage individualized treatment plans.
• Prescribe medications and coordinate referrals as needed.
• Perform early detection screenings and preventive care.
• Maintain accurate and timely patient records.
• Collaborate with nursing, administrative, and medical staff to ensure high-quality care.
• Participate in quality assurance initiatives and continuing education.
• Support hospital-wide emergency preparedness and community wellness events.
• Ensure compliance with WMRMC policies, ethical standards, and regulatory requirements.
