Job summary

77 consultants seeks a Full-Time General Cardiologist to provide comprehensive cardiology care in Surprise, AZ, spanning outpatient and inpatient settings.

The role features a 95% outpatient focus with hospital rounding on a 1:4 weekend basis. Start date is February 2027. Compensation includes a guaranteed salary with a productivity model, plus a partnership track, health benefits, PTO, CME support, and CME reimbursement.

Qualifications

• Requires active Arizona medical license or IMLC
• Board certification or eligibility within 5 years of residency
• Minimum 2 years in a clinical setting preferred
• Vaccinations: flu and COVID-19 or exemptions
• ACLS/BLS required as applicable

Responsibilities

• Conduct inpatient rounding and oversee outpatient clinic operations
• Perform and interpret ECGs and noninvasive studies
• Coordinate Echocardiography and stress testing (Treadmill/Nuclear)
• Perform Vascular Ultrasound, Holter/Event monitoring
• Engage in hospital rounding with a 1:4 weekend schedule

Position: Full-Time General Cardiologist

Overview: Seeking an experienced General Cardiologist to deliver comprehensive cardiology services in both outpatient and inpatient environments.

Call Schedule:

• No emergency room responsibilities
• 95% outpatient focus

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct inpatient rounding and manage outpatient clinic operations
• Interpret noninvasive studies, including:
  • - Electrocardiograms (EKG)
• Echocardiography
• Stress testing (Treadmill and Nuclear Medicine)
• Vascular Ultrasound
• Event monitors and Holter monitoring

Location:

Surprise, Arizona (approximately 40 minutes from Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport and Scottsdale)

Candidate Requirements:

• Active Arizona State Medical License or IMLC
• Board Certification: Must be Board Certified or Board Eligible; certification must be obtained within 5 years of residency completion
• Experience: Minimum of 2 years in a relevant clinical setting preferred
• Vaccination Requirements:
  • - Flu vaccination required or valid medical/religious exemption
  • - COVID-19 vaccination required or valid medical/religious exemption
• Certifications:
  • - ACLS (AHA issued) - Required if requesting conscious sedation privileges
  • - BLS (AHA issued) - Required for all specialties
