UPMC Heart and Vascular Institute at UPMC Hamot invites you to practice cardiology in Erie, PA, known as the Flagship City on Lake Erie's southern shore. The practice comprises 27 cardiologists serving the Tri-State region (Northwestern Pennsylvania, Western New York, Northeastern Ohio).
Erie offers a family-friendly environment with excellent educational, cultural, and recreational opportunities, and is conveniently located within two hours of Pittsburgh, Cleveland, and Buffalo, and less than four hours from Toronto.
Join a team of nine Non-Invasive Cardiologists supported by a skilled staff including 22 Advanced Practice Providers. The department is busy and collaborative, working alongside interventional cardiology, electrophysiology, and cardiac surgery teams to deliver high-quality cardiovascular care.
The role involves joining a full-service cardiology group with programs in nuclear imaging, echocardiography, and vascular diagnostics. Services include TEE, stress echo, 3D echo, EKG, vascular diagnostics, cardiac CT, and MRI. The office and diagnostic center are located adjacent to the hospital, with clinics for congestive heart failure, adult congenital heart disease, hypertrophic cardiomyopathy, and pediatric cardiology.
