Job summary

CompHealth is assisting a medical group on Long Island to recruit a Board-certified or board-eligible Non-Invasive Cardiologist for a full-time outpatient position. Join 15 cardiologists and 11 APPs across 4 locations, with a high-volume practice and shared night and weekend call.

The role features advanced in-office imaging (Echo, Nuclear, Cardiac CT, vascular ultrasound) and on-site SPECT MPI, PET/CT, and device clinic, plus an academic affiliation with interaction with students and staff.

Qualifications

• Board-certified or board-eligible in non-invasive cardiology.
• Experience in high-volume outpatient practice.
• Familiarity with advanced in-office imaging (Echo, Nuclear, Cardiac CT, Vascular ultrasound).

Responsibilities

• Provide outpatient cardiology assessments and manage patient care.
• Perform and coordinate in-office imaging and interpretation.
• Share call coverage with the team.

• Full-time, Monday - Friday schedule with shared night and weekend call coverage
• Join 15 cardiologists and 11 APPs across 4 locations on Long Island
• High-volume outpatient practice seeing 18 - 22 patients per day once established
• Advanced in-office imaging: Echo, Nuclear, Cardiac CT, and Vascular Ultrasound
• Onsite services include SPECT MPI, PET/CT, myocardial strain imaging, and device clinic
• Academic medical center affiliation with interaction with students and clinical staff
• Board-certified or board-eligible Non-Invasive Cardiologists encouraged to apply
• Located in Suffolk County on Long Island, approximately 40 miles from Manhattan
