Job summary

UVA Community Health in Northern Virginia is seeking a Non-invasive Cardiologist to join a growing team serving patients at three local hospitals, including Prince William and Haymarket facilities. The role emphasizes high-quality outpatient care with on-site diagnostic testing and collaboration with an experienced group of MDs and an NP.

The successful candidate will be board eligible or board certified in cardiology, hold Virginia licensure or be able to obtain it, and bring energy,

Qualifications

• Must be board eligible or board certified in their specialty.
• Board eligible candidates still in training must be scheduled for their boards.
• Virginia licensure or ability to obtain licensure.
• Excellent interpersonal skills to communicate clearly and concisely with all levels of nursing, physicians and administration.

Responsibilities

• Provide care for patients after heart attacks and those living with heart disease.
• Treat a wide variety of cardiac conditions as well as post-event care.
• Offer diagnostic testing, monitoring and treatment for heart conditions on-site.
• Support patient volumes in clinic at three local acute care hospitals.
