Job summary

Carle Health in Peoria, IL seeks a BE/BC Non-Invasive Cardiologist to join the Cardiovascular Services team at Methodist Hospital. You will work across inpatient and outpatient settings, participate in the Valve Clinic and TAVR program, and coordinate care with a large, multidisciplinary team.

The practice includes expansive coverage across multiple campuses with a robust benefits package, relocation support, CME allowance, and tail malpractice coverage.

Responsibilities

• Assess, diagnose and treat cardiac disease states in both inpatient and outpatient settings.
• Valve Clinic and TAVR program involvement.
• Inpatient management at three hospital campuses and outpatient clinic responsibilities across eight clinic sites in central Illinois.
• Nuclear stress tests performed at all three hospitals.
• Call schedule: 1 in 7 rotating weeknights; weekend call 7 am Fri–7 am Mon on 1 in 7.
• Average of ~20 patients per day in the hospital.
• Collaborate with Hospitalists, other specialists, and cardiology colleagues for multidisciplinary patient care.
