MedStar Health Cardiology Associates at Annapolis is actively seeking Non-Invasive Cardiologists to join our growing team. The role offers a diverse mix of outpatient and inpatient care with strong clinical support, mentorship, and opportunities to develop subspecialty interests.

The practice emphasizes collaboration, patient-centered care, and community outreach, with outreach opportunities at Kent Island and Bowie. Annapolis combines coastal living with access to major metros.

Qualifications

• Board eligible or board certified in Cardiology.
• Board certification in Echocardiography and/or Nuclear Cardiology preferred.
• Expertise in advanced echocardiography, including TEE, is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Provide outpatient clinical and inpatient cardiology services.
• Perform and interpret echocardiography, including stress echocardiography.
• Conduct nuclear cardiology studies and TEEs; develop imaging expertise.
• Potential outreach at supporting locations (Kent Island, Bowie).
• Maintain a favorable call schedule with ~1:12 weekend and 1:14 weekday calls.

About the Job

MedStar Health Cardiology Associates at Annapolis is seeking Non-Invasive Cardiologists to join our growing team of experienced cardiologists. This is an exciting opportunity to join an established practice with a strong patient base, excellent clinical support, and a collaborative, collegial environment.

We are expanding our team due to practice growth and upcoming physician retirements and welcome both early-career and experienced cardiologists who are looking for a long-term opportunity to build a rewarding practice.

The Opportunity

In this role, you will provide outpatient clinical and inpatient cardiology services, with coverage primarily associated with one hospital.

The practice offers a diverse and rewarding clinical mix, including:

• General non-invasive cardiology
• Echocardiography, including stress echocardiography
• Nuclear cardiology
• Performing and interpreting transesophageal echocardiograms (TEE)
• Opportunities to develop expertise in advanced imaging
• Potential outreach opportunities at supporting locations, including Kent Island and Bowie

The practice offers a favorable call schedule, with approximately 1:12 weekend call and 1:14 weekday call, providing an excellent balance between professional responsibilities and personal time.

Position Requirements

• Board eligible or board certified in Cardiology
• Board certification in Echocardiography and/or Nuclear Cardiology preferred
• Expertise and/or interest in a subspecialty area such as advanced echocardiography, including TEE, is highly desirable
