Job summary

Sentara Martha Jefferson Hospital in Charlottesville, VA is seeking a Non-Invasive Cardiologist to join a collaborative cardiovascular program. The role includes a balanced mix of inpatient and outpatient duties with a 1:8 call schedule and strong team support.

Qualifications

• Board certification in cardiovascular medicine is required/expected.
• Experience with nuclear stress testing is preferred.
• Experience with NIV and echocardiography is desired.

Responsibilities

• Perform non-invasive cardiology procedures including TEE imaging, EKG, echocardiography, and nuclear stress testing.
• Provide a mix of outpatient and inpatient cardiology duties.
• Manage clinic volume with 15-min follow-ups and 30-min new patient visits; participate in a 1:8 call schedule.
• Collaborate with team to support patient-centered care and efficient workflows.
• Leverage AI tools (Cleerly, DASI) to enhance diagnostics and utilize DAX Copilot for charting.

Sentara Martha Jefferson Hospital (SMJH) is seeking a Non-Invasive Cardiologist to join our collaborative, patient-focused cardiovascular program serving Charlottesville, VA. This role offers a balanced mix of inpatient and outpatient cardiology with strong team support and a sustainable call schedule.

Position Highlights:

• Required Procedures: Transesophageal echocardiography (TEE) imaging, EKG, Echo, Nuclear Stress Testing
• Mix of outpatient and inpatient duties
• Clinic Volume is variable with provider input; 15 min follow-ups/30 min new patient visits
• Call Schedule: 1:8 rotation
• Leverage advanced AI tools like Cleerly and DASI to enhance cardiac diagnostics and decision-making, while DAX Copilot streamlines inpatient and outpatient charting—helping clinicians work smarter, faster, and more accurately
