The University of Iowa, Division of Cardiovascular Medicine in the Department of Internal Medicine is recruiting a BC/BE non-invasive cardiologist for a faculty position at the rank of Instructor, Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, or Professor in the clinical (non-tenure) or tenure track, depending on qualifications. The successful candidate will join a large academic group. Patient care will occur at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics.
Candidates must have an M.D. degree or equivalent and show completion of an ACGME accredited residency and fellowship program. In addition, candidates must be board certified in Cardiology and have excellent interpersonal skills. Experience in advanced ECHO and Transthoracic Echocardiography along with cardiac MRI and/or CT is preferred. Evidence of a commitment to clinical teaching, clinical research and/or outcomes research is desired.
