Job summary

UPMC Altoona is seeking a cardiologist to join a well-established HeartCARE Center team. The group includes 2 interventionalists, 1 non-invasive cardiologist, 2 electrophysiologists and 1 heart failure specialist, with a strong inpatient and outpatient balance.

The clinic operates Monday through Friday, 8 am to 5 pm, and call is 1:5. The practice is 1.5 miles from UPMC Altoona Hospital with additional scheduling at a neighboring hospital and a comprehensive pacemaker clinic, offering competitive

Opportunity Details

• Practice is an established clinic with solid patient base
• Practice staffs 4 PAs and 2 nurse practitioners
• Clinic is located 1.5 miles from UPMC Altoona hospital
• Additional clinic hours will be scheduled at neighboring UPMC Bedford hospital
• Altoona clinic has comprehensive pacemaker clinic
• Good inpatient and outpatient work balance. Work schedule is Monday – Friday 8 am – 5 pm
• Call schedule will be 1:5
