Technical/Functional Skills:
- 5+ years of experience as a Nonfunctional tester, creating and conducting tests from an infrastructure perspective, including server Shakedown, Operability, Negative testing, Failover, Custom Monitoring, and Fallback/Fall Forward testing.
- Experience with back-end systems, including logging in, navigating, and manipulating systems (e.g., stop/start/restart/failover). Strong hands-on experience with technologies related to Non-Functional testing such as WebSphere, MQ, Linux/Unix (including Unix commands), Network (load-balancing/F5), Windows Server, Clusters, Git Bash, etc.
- Proficiency in MS Word, MS Excel, MS Project, and VISIO (for infrastructure diagrams), with at least 5 years of experience.
- Experience with databases (Oracle, SQL, DB2), APIs, and their integration with applications.
- At least 5 years of experience in PMLC, 5+ years in Cloud, 3+ years in Azure, and 5+ years in large technology infrastructure.
- Knowledge of Agile and Waterfall methodologies, with at least 5 years of experience.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate highly technical concepts to partners.
- Strong decision-making, innovation, and problem-solving skills, along with conflict resolution and project requirement management.
- Flexible, adaptable to change, organized, self-motivated, goal-oriented, and demonstrating sound time management skills.
- Willingness to take ownership of tasks and see them through to completion.
- Educational requirement: Undergraduate degree or Technical Certificate.
Experience Required:
- 5-7 years of relevant experience.
- CSTE/CMST certification.
- Excellent coaching skills and a desire to share knowledge.
- Strong understanding of large, complex technology infrastructures.
- Familiarity with Project Management Lifecycle (PMLC) and Agile methodologies.
- Support for Lean approaches, including metrics, visual status boards, performance dialogues, and continuous improvement processes.
