Job summary

SA Recycling is seeking a non-ferrous laborer to sort and process metals in an outdoor yard. Responsibilities include inspecting materials, operating yard equipment, laundering uniforms, and maintaining inventory and safety standards.

The role requires the ability to work outside in varying weather, with opportunities for growth and weekly pay. A high school diploma or GED is preferred, with prior labor experience a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent work experience.
• 1 year of general labor in scrap metal, mining, or construction preferred.
• Bi-lingual English/Spanish a plus.
• Ability to follow written or verbal instructions.
• Willingness to learn new tasks.

Responsibilities

• Identify, grade, sort, and process nonferrous materials.
• Maintain a safe environment for all staff and visitors.
• Perform daily equipment inspections and report defects.
• Carry out general yard duties such as sweeping and clean-up.
• Launder uniforms and comply with safety rules.
• Provide yard coverage as needed.
